Tattooing at Area 51

1. It is against the law to knowingly tattoo anyone under the age of 18 years old

2. If you look under 25 years old please bring photo ID original copies only. 

3. Children accompanied by an adult are welcome in the reception area only. If you are waiting for long periods we ask you to  please be respectful to the concentration of the artists.

4. We are happy for you to bring a chaperone but only one will be allowed in the tattoo area with you and if the tattoo area is busy you may be asked to wait in the reception area instead.

5. All artists at Studio 51 are self employed freelance contractors  and are solely responsible for their own affairs. When you book in with an artist you are booking in with a self employed person who rents space within the business. The information collected on the consent forms are kept and managed by your chosen artist. 

6.All tattoo appointments require a deposit before booking. Deposits are non refundable . Please speak to your chosen artist as their terms and conditions may vary. 

7. Please make sure you have agreed a price before starting or finishing your tattoo. There may be other charges for example a drawing fee or a change of mind drawing fee. Please check this with your chosen artist as their terms and conditions vary.

8. Our artists sometimes will not tattoo certain parts of the body. Please check with your chosen artist before booking. 

9.Some areas of the body hold the ink better than others, hands, fingers and feet etc tend to fade and need a re colour, maybe at extra cost . Please check with your chosen artist.

10. Each artist will have their own recommendations on aftercare. Please check directly with your chosen artist

11. The artist will only tattoo someone if thy think they will do a great job. Please dont be offended if they refuse a design
